Sam Erwin
Sam Erwin was a regular at the old Portsmouth Speedway and at Atomic
Speedway near Waverly. Sam started in the old coupes then went on the
supermodified class. He was killed in an accident at Atomic in 1973. To
all who knew him, he was one of the nice guys in his day. Photo sent by
