Wayne County Speedway flagman Earl Fredericks awards the 1970 Late Model
Midseason Championship trophy to Ken Jacobs. Ken was a successful Modified
& Sprint racer who went on to win many Late Model features during a 4 year

Marriann Jacobs wins another checker at WCS in her husband's #066 Late
Model in 1970. During the 1973 season at Wayne County Speedway Marriann
ran a full season of races for females in Late Models and won the points
championship. In 1973 she mainly drove Jim Gentry’s Late Model. Marriann is
the mother of Kenny, Dean & Bud Jacobs, all successful Sprint Car racers. Bud
