Tri-County Speedway, Summer, 1969. Morgan Chandler was still working
with the Ruth Motor's Race Team in Glencoe, Kentucky then. On this
particular night, it rained and rained, but Morgan was prepared for it, and
Gene Petro in the #29 won the feature event without too much
competition, if I remember correctly. The track was so muddy and tacky,
but #29 just roared by everyone like the mud didn't matter. ~ Jim Snell.
