David Smith
This is a 1982 photo of David Smith in the # 53 Late Model Camaro at
Conway Speedway (SC). David won 11 features including a streak of 5
in a row at the tight 1/4 mile dirt oval. The car was maintained by
David's brother Danny Smith who also claimed many Southeastern dirt
and asphalt wins in the 60's - 70's. The car was owned by Jack Prentice.
David was was also successful at Myrtle Beach Speedway,
Timmonsville, and Lakeview Speedway.
